We celebrate our differences and embrace multiculturalism. We work with Greater Manchester Police, Oldham Division and St Barnabas Church in Clarksfield to raise awareness for diversity and community cohesion. We believe that to improve communities is to improve humanity.
Planet Mercy believes in community cohesion. We believe that by working together we can work towards a society, which has a common vision and sense of belonging by all communities. We believe in helping to create a society in which the diversity of people’s backgrounds and circumstances is appreciated and valued
We believe in sharing and conversing. We have held a number of successfully “SHARE” events in which people from all faiths and background came together to develop shared values and a sense of belonging. The events were a great success and the feedback we received was heartwarming. We believe that we are making a difference and the feedback we have received has proven this.
After a successful “SHARE RAMADAN” we received a heartfelt letter written by one of the attendees, this letter has proven that the work that Planet Mercy do is needed to create a successful society.
A celebration is an amazing way to get people together. Planet Mercy are getting the community together and sharing our similarities with love and laughter. A successful community is one that works together and we believe that with open dialogue, love and compassion we can achieve this. Our Share Eid event bought together people from all backgrounds and beliefs and gave them the opportunity to build a positive relationship. We are continuing our work.
