Since the start of the pandemic in March, Planet Mercy UK team have been doing Food Parcel deliveries to struggling and needy families in Rochdale, Oldham, Bury, Heywood, Middleton and Manchester.
To date, the team has delivered close to 3,000 Parcels with your kind support. The volunteers , donators and amazing community around the country have helped to keep this work tick along and reach the most needy.
This week, one of our partners, Electricity NorthWest sent volunteers who will be helping on Tuesdays and Sundays over the next month or so with packing and distribution working alongside PM Volunteers.
This week Emma and team kindly helped us, the evening started with a tour of the premises, snacks and a walkthrough of the work of Planet Mercy UK over the last decade, followed by packing and distribution.
The team packed 42 parcels and distributed them in the mentioned areas. A huge thanks the ENW Team, PM Volunteers, FareShare, Morrisons Chadderton and all our supporters.
